(*) Conference hosting is typically managed by the local organization chair. However, this team will coordinate with the PhD/ME/FD students to prepare a list of volunteers and assist the local organization chair. They can also participate in managing the event in coordination with the local organization chair if their bandwidth permits.

  6. Student Connect: The team should coordinate with the ASCII body to organize an informal gathering with the final year students (BE, ME) for information sharing. This event is separate from the faculty-student interaction organized by the ASCII. The final year students can share the good and not-so-good experiences and suggest ideas for improvements. Likewise, the faculty members can also share their good and not-so-good experiences with the students and suggest ideas for improvements. The feedback can be documented.
    Subsequently,

    • DEAC+HoD can then review and propose an implementation plan for the ideas suggested by the students.
    • ASCII can review the issues raised by the faculty members, come up with a solution plan and pass them to the junior students.

  7. This event may be organized once a semester, and the event may be funded from the DDF/Dept Budget.
